GM Type :2 heads		 The combination contact drum/platen sanding head shares a single belt but has a flat platen behind the contact drum. It can be operated in 3 modes: 1)Drum only. 2)Platen only. 3)Drum and platen in tandem. Thus, it can produce the characteristics of either the aforementioned drum or platen heads or a combination thereof. The combination head is usually furnished on single head sanders, but can be furnished as one head of a multi-head sander.

Combine B series & G series machine are in one to increase the function. (Can sand veneer and base coating woods at the same time)
 
The combination head sander can be operated in 3 modes:
platen up, platen down or platen level with the drum.
With the platen up
(1)the sander functions as a drum only machine: for sizing with a 36 to 150 grit belt. With the platen head in level position.
(2)with the drum, intermediate and final finishing is possible: for example,using a grit sequence of 80, 150 and 220. The platen only.
(3)mode(platen below drum)is frequently used for sanding repairs,mars or lacquer seals with fine (280-600)grits.		 Precision Ball Screws
The conveyor table is supported by precision ball screws, providing extremely smooth and accurate table elevation.
